           •      In highly populated countries like India, food wastage is a disturbing issue.     The streets, garbage bins and landfills have ample proof to prove it. Marriages,     canteens, restaurants, social and family get-togethers and functions expel out so much food.

•      Instead of wasting these things we can put them in use by donating them to various organizations such as orphanages, old age homes, etc. The product is an internet-based android application that basically aims at charity through donations.

1)   Tools Used …

              1)  Android Studio

Android Studio is the official integrated development environment (IDE) for Google's Android operating system, built on Jet Brains' IntelliJ IDEA software and designed specifically for Android development

In this project based on food donation I had used this Android Studio software for the purpose of coding & layout design. It is also provides the different inbuilt functionalities , libraries used for android app development

    2) Firebase

Firebase is a platform developed by Google for creating mobile and web applications. It was originally an independent company founded in 2011. Developers were using Involve to sync application data such as game state in real time across their users.

3) Modules of project :

         A) Login And Registration:

The user has to sign in with the name, email ID, contact number, and address.

• B) Donation of food & Reception of food:

        The user has to choose the activity if donation of food. It is required to click on the donation tab after that fill the contact address where the food is available, quantity of food, time and date of donation

If the user or volunteer wants to claims the food, need to click on volunteer tab and login through email & password then he/she is able to see the notification of food accordingly  reach to the place mention in the food post and collect the food  

C) Notification:

            In theses section volunteer is able to see all the posts of availability of food done by the donor
